Which books?
Tell us which books have worked well with your Six Book Challenge participants. We're always looking for new recommendations to add to our First Choice Books database and we're running a champagne draw for those submitting titles that meet our criteria by 11 December.



I work for County Library in Ipswich, and have set up a reading group for some members who have joined the Six Book Challenge, we are currently reading 'The Dare' which is a fantastic book and a great starting point for the challenge
The Sharing Stories reading group at Chantry Library in Ipswich, Suffolk has just finished their challenge. As a group they read 'Dr Who and the Sontarans','The Dare' and some of the stories from 'Wow 366'. They are just starting on Buster Fleabags by Rolf Harris.
Many of my learners who are working at E1 have found the Newleaf readers with CDs invaluable. They have really enjoyed the stories as many have them have been written by Basic Skills students about their personal life experiences. The CDs have not only helped to inprove my learners reading skills but gave them the confidence to attempt the Six Book Challenge.
